![]() In layman’s terms, being psychic means using senses other than the know senses to identify information. So now you’re probably asking….what in the world does that mean? This means that people have more senses than just the basic five: touch, taste, hear, see and smell. The “psychic” senses are also known as the “clairs”. There are 4 basic “clairs”: clairsentient, claircognizant, clairvoyant and clairaudient. These senses help us to stay connected to the reality that exists beyond our own physical world and immediate senses. Here is a little breakdown of what this all means:
Most of us have shut off our psychic senses so that we could “fit in” and not be the odd man out, or because we were afraid of them, not knowing what they were. When in actuality we have these gifts to help us in this lifetime. These are amazing gifts to have or to develop if given the chance. Most people are proficient, (meaning these senses come naturally to them) in one or two senses, but experimenting and practicing can help us to open up to other senses.
We all have special gifts that we bring to the table, everyone is different and everyone has something that they can offer. When practiced, these gifts can bring us so much peace from doing what we actually came here to do. Perhaps your gift is being a medium, (being able to talk and connect with people who have died), or a psychic, an animal communicator, a carpenter, a gardener, a website designer, an electrician, a crystal healer or a veterinarian. All of these gifts are practiced. Some are practiced so much that the person actually becomes a master at what they do! What's your special gift(s)?
